California Music Fest is a celebration of California Culture: Music, Surf, and Art. It takes place over the 4th of July weekend in the beautiful city by the sea (Ventura, CA) in conjunction with the already established and very popular Ventura Street Fair. Last year’s street fair featured a massive turn out of over 45,000 people. This year with the City of Ventura’s inclusion of the California Music Fest, over 150 bands will be featured as well as a surf contest and visual artists from all over the country. The city is expecting an even larger attendance for 2009. Chi has been selected to showcase during the festival and is absolutely thrilled. Following up on the solo acoustic showcase from 7/3, Chi will be joined by the full band on the 4th from 3:00-3:45pm at Candlelight Kitchen & Bar. With just a short time to play, Chi and the band will be pulling out all the stops, so if you haven’t seen them yet, this will definitely be a great opportunity to hear them live.
